Men’s Handball Libertadores with groups and match schedule defined. From June 21 to 27 the best handball in the continent will be played in Asunción.
The SCA Men’s Club Handball competition awards a berth to the Club World Cup, the 16 teams will go in search of glory.
Participants
In this new edition of the South Central Tournament, the protagonists are: Taubaté, FMO Português, Esporte Clube Pinheiros and Nacional do Brasil.
SAG Villa Ballester, Dorrego, Club Atlético River Plate, Club Universitario de Córdoba, Colegio Ward, San Fernando and Asociación Atlética Argentinos Juniors de Argentina.
Luque, Club Atlético Triunfo and Villa Elisa of Paraguay. Pontevedrés and Scuola Italiana of Uruguay.
Defined groups and game system
The Championship will be disputed by the teams divided into 2 zones made up of 2 groups of 4 teams each.
Once the group classification phase has been defined, a draw will be made between the first and second place finishers in each group.
It is established that those who have shared a group in the qualifying phase will not be able to play against each other again.
After these games between first and second place, the 4 winning teams will face each other in the semifinals as established in the competition program.

The 4 losers will face each other for the dispute of the 5th to 8th places. The winners of the semifinal games will advance to the dispute for the SCA Club Championship 2026 and the qualification to the IHF Club World Championship.
Losers will play for third and fourth place. The teams that occupy the 3rd and 4th places in their groups will play for the 9th to 16th place.
The winners of the head-to-head matches will play from 9th to 12th place and the losers from 13th to 16th place.
