The first stage of the Camp for referees and technical delegates at the SCA Under 13 and 14 in Asunción, Paraguay, has concluded.
First stage of the Referees and Delegates Camp
During the SCA Under-13 Girls’ and Under-14 Boys’ Handball Tournaments, five referee pairs and three technical delegates gained international experience.
The camp for identifying young referees and technical delegates took place during this first week in an atmosphere of learning, growth, and increasing challenges that unfolded game by game.
In addition, daily meetings were held to thoroughly analyze each officiating pair’s performance in accordance with the IHF’s updated guidelines.
On this occasion, they were joined by referee teams from Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, as well as delegates from Argentina and Paraguay.
It is worth noting that the event was attended by Renata Garcia, an IHF international referee, who served as Referee Support.
Participating referees
From Argentina: Santiago de Rose and Ezequiel Salinas; Jeremías Jurado and Tiago Rombola; from Paraguay: Alan Lugo and Claudio Maldonado; Lorenzo Delgado and Lizandro Sánchez Rolón. Also, from Uruguay: Pablo Dalcín and Matías Molian.
Delegates summoned
Daniela Muñoz and Agustina Cacciola from Argentina; Oscar Benítez from Paraguay.
Coscabal’s PRC technical delegates: Sandra Quadros from Brazil; Pablo Martínez from Uruguay;
; Marcelo Moraga from Chile; Luis Rodríguez and Rubén Burgos from Argentina.
Second stage
During the SCA Under-15 Girls’ and Under-16 Boys’ Handball Championships—which will serve as qualifiers for the World Championship—the second phase of the referees’ and technical delegates’ training camp will be completed.
