Fourth day of competition at the Invensible in Santa Fe. A great day at the South American Games, where Argentina leads the standings.
With the crowd adding plenty of color to Saturday’s action, Argentina took first place in the standings after defeating Peru. Meanwhile, Chile beat Colombia, and Uruguay defeated Paraguay.

Summary of Matchday 4
COLOMBIA VS. CHILE
This Saturday, Chile defeated Colombia 37-11. The Chilean team got off to a shaky start, as did their opponent. As the game progressed, the team coached by Ramiro Montoya found openings and closed out the half with an 18-8 lead.
In the second half, they maintained their dominance and gradually extended their lead with a very effective offense. Colombia struggled to keep up with their opponent’s pace and managed to score only three goals.
Catalina Gálvez was Chile’s leading scorer with 7 goals, and in Colombia, María Becerra scored 3 goals.
Chilean goalkeeper Antonia Gómez made 17 saves out of 28 shots, for a save percentage of 61%.

URUGUAY VS. PARAGUAY
ARGENTINA VS. PERU
In front of a packed crowd at Invencible Stadium, Argentina defeated Peru 39–11. The team coached by Mariano Muñoz took control from the opening minutes, closing out the first half with a 21–8 lead.
In the second half, Argentina found answers from various players to hold on to the lead until the end.
Peru, for its part, was only able to score three goals; La Garra capitalized on home-field advantage to secure its fourth consecutive victory.
Milagros Schneider led the Argentine offense with 7 goals, while Virginia Catera and Mora Carballo each scored 6.
In Peru, Camila Delgado and Nayeli Cancino scored two goals.

This Sunday, the final round of matches will take place, starting at 2:30 p.m. with Peru vs. Colombia, followed by Uruguay vs. Chile at 5:00 p.m., and closing out the day at 7:30 p.m. with Argentina vs. Paraguay.
It’s worth noting that the top two finishers will earn the two spots at the upcoming Pan American Games, Lima 2027.
