Paraguay A Wins the SCA Championship! The SCA Under-15 tournament concluded in Asunción with Paraguay A taking the title, Argentina finishing second, and Uruguay third.
The gold medal match between Argentina and Paraguay was played in front of a large crowd at the Arena COP stadium.
Paraguay A defeated Argentina 27-24 and claimed the championship title; the team coached by Rodrigo Rojas went 5-0 in five games.
The MVP was Tiziana Devaca, who was also the game’s leading scorer with 12 goals.
Paraguay B vs. Uruguay (3rd/4th Place Match)
In the bronze medal match, Uruguay defeated Paraguay B 28-22 and claimed a spot on the podium. The MVP was Agostina Cayafa of the Uruguayan team, who also scored 6 goals.
Candela Jara and Fernanda Ledezma also scored 6 goals for the Guaraní team.
Brazil vs. Chile (5th/6th Place Match)
The Brazilian national team defeated Chile 25-15 and finished in fifth place in the tournament. Julia Santana was named MVP, while Eduarda Parahnos was the top scorer with 5 goals.
