Esporte Clube Pinheiros was founded in 1899 in São Paulo, Brazil. The institution has different sports disciplines, but handball is one of the club’s main sports.

The achievements obtained by Esporte Clube Pinheiros come from different competitions, they have 10 titles in the Brazilian Championship. They have a historical record with more than 30 titles in Paulista Tournaments.
Another highlight is the triple crown obtained in 2017, conquering the Paulista Championship + National League + Pan American Games.
In 2024, they repeated the title of champions, consolidating their position as one of the most successful clubs in Brazil.
International
At the international level, they were crowned champions in 2011 and 2017 of the Pan American Club Tournament. In addition, they won first place in the SCA Club Competition in 2021.
But that’s not all, they also participated in the Club World Cup (former Super Globe) where their best position was obtained in 2021 with a fourth place.

Alex Aprile is the coach of the senior men’s team, a leading team that never ceases to amaze with its potential.

From June 21 to 27, the SCA Senior Men’s Club Handball Tournament will take place in the city of Asunción, Paraguay, and Pinheiros will be one of the participants.
