The Brazilian men’s team was crowned champion in Asuncion. In the final of the Beach Handball SCA Senior, the South American classic was played and it was a 2-0 Brazilian victory over Argentina.
Asunción witnessed the last match of the tournament where Brazil beat Argentina to win the title in the 3rd edition of the championship.
First set
Under a tight first set, Argentina led the pace of play for the first 5 minutes, but more than halfway through the first set Brazil began to leak the Albiceleste defense. They tied the score with only 15 seconds left. A last play by Brazil gave them the victory of the set by the minimum difference 15:14.

Second set
Led by an on fire João Paulo, who finished the match with 13 goals, Brazil started the second set with a convincing 8-0 lead. The green and yellow team started to take advantage of the spaces and the small mistakes made by the Argentinean defense, imposing their game with authority. Finally, Brazil took the set 16:8, crowning itself champion of the 3rd edition of the SCA Beach Handball Championship, Asunción 2024.
