Main achievements of the senior women’s team
The women consolidated with championships in the Women’s National League, they have 6 titles to their credit 2016, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
In addition, they were crowned champions of the Paulista Women’s Super Cup with eight consecutive titles:
2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Absolute dominance in 2025, the blue and white team won the Brazilian Super Cup, the Paulista Championship and the National League, a triple crown that evidences its leadership.
International
In 2017 they won the Pan American Club Tournament title and also in the South Central American competition they won three consecutive titles: 2022, 2023 and 2024. In 2025 they placed third in the competition.
Coach: Maurício Antonucci
Mauricio Antonucci has been the coach of the senior team since 2024. “I arrived in 2013, first I was in the lower categories and then as assistant coach of the senior team.”
“In 2024, I took over as head coach “, Antonucci commented and added: “We are preparing ourselves with physical and technical-tactical training. We are aware of the importance and difficulty of the tournament”.

Structure and sports identity
Pinheiros operates at the Henrique Villaboim Multisports Gymnasium, one of the most modern multisports facilities in the country, which hosts national and international competitions.
The club has men’s and women’s teams in all categories, from U8 to adult, in various Olympic sports.
Its training philosophy is its great differentiator: the club not only wins, but also creates champions. Many of the athletes who represent the Brazilian national teams have gone through the Pinheiros program.
From June 15 to 19, the SCA Senior Women’s Club Handball Tournament will take place in the city of Asuncion, Paraguay and Pinheiros will be one of the protagonists.
