Commissions approved by the IHF Council for the period 2025-2029. The appointments cover the five permanent technical commissions.
The International Handball Federation officially approved its standing committees for the new election period 2025-2029.
Five permanent technical committees
- Organization and Competition Commission (COC)
- Playing Rules and Referees Commission (PRC)
- Training and Methods Commission (TMC)
- Medical Commission (MC)
- Development Committee (DC), in addition there shall be a Court of Arbitration, the Arbitration Committee and the Ethics Committee.
Each commission will hold virtual meetings every three months, with at least one face-to-face meeting per year, and the continental representatives are expected to organize regular meetings with their counterparts in the member federations of their respective regions.
Organization and Competition Commission (COC)
It will be composed of seven members, one from each continent. In addition, the COC Chairman proposed to appoint Mr. László Nagy (HUN) as a member.
He also suggested appointing Roger Keller (SUI), Hans-Jørgen Lythje (DEN) and Bruno Souza (BRA). Bruno Souza (BRA) as COC experts.
They are members of the COC until 2029:
Yazid SOUADI (MAR) – Africa Representative
Kang Jae WON (KOR) – Asia Representative
Bozidar DJURKOVIC (SRB) – Europe Representative
Kurt LAURITSEN (GRL) – North America and the Caribbean Representative
Makiroa MITCHELL-JOHN (COK) – Oceania Representative
Martín Miguel CHILACA (BOL) – Representative for South and Central America
László NAGY (HUN) – Member
Commission on Rules of the Game and Arbitration (CRJ)
It will be composed of seven members, one from each continent. In addition, the President of the RCRC proposed to appoint Per OLESEN (DEN), Ángel Luis SABROSO RAMÍREZ (ESP) as an expert of the RCRC.
They are part of the PRC until 2029:
Mamoudou DIABATE (VIC) – Africa Representative
Saleh BINASHOUR (UAE) – Asia Representative
Majid KOLAHDOUZAN (USA) – North America and Caribbean Representative
Thedy ADJEMIAN (ARG) – Representative for South and Central America
Per OLESEN (DEN) – Member
Ángel Luis SABROSO RAMÍREZ (ESP) as expert
Training and Methods Commission (TMC)
There will be one representative from each continent. In addition, the Chairman of the MCC proposed to appoint Paul Landuré as a member of the MCC.
The Board approved the following MCC members until 2029:

Taiysir Mansi (Jordan) – Asia Representative
Pedro Sequeira (Portugal) – Europe Representative
Franklyn Guevara (Cuba) – North America and Caribbean Representative
Eoin Murray (Australia) – Oceania Representative
Eduardo Gabriel Gallardo (Argentina) – Representative for South and Central America
Paul Landuré (France) – Member
Medical Commission (CM)
There will be six and the Chairman of the Management Committee proposed to appoint Dr. François Raoux (FRA) as a member of the Committee.
The Board approved the appointment of the following members until 2029:
Dr. Sokhna Dioum (SEN) – Africa Representative and Dr. Katsuhiko Sakuma (JPN) – Asia Representative
