Match schedule for the Beach Handball World Cup in Croatia. The fixture of the competition that will crown the 2026 champions has been set.
All the news of the XII IHF Men’s and Women’s Beach Handball World Championship
On the first weekend of May, the draw took place in the trophy room of the Croatian Handball Federation in Zagreb, Croatia.
With the participation of 16 men’s and 16 women’s teams, both world events will be held simultaneously at Lake Jarun in Zagreb, Croatia, from June 23 to 28, 2026.

Women’s Branch
Group A Uruguay faces world champion Germany, the Netherlands and Vietnam, champions of Asia and the Asian Beach Games.
Argentina, is in Group D along with Denmark, the Philippines and Benin, which is making its debut in the tournament.
In addition, Group C includes BrazilNorway and Greece – who have five world championships between them – will face each other, along with the United States, recent champion of North America and the Caribbean.
Men’s Branch
Argentina and Brazil will relive the South American classic in Group C, with Germany and Italy, tournament debutants which will be joined by Germany and tournament debutants Italy.
Meanwhile, Group B features Hungary, Denmark, Tunisia and Puerto Rico. Group D is completed by Croatia, France, Oman and Australia.
Match Schedule
The preliminary group stage of Croatia 2026 begins on Tuesday, June 23 at 10:00 am.
The 32 teams will play a total of 32 matches on the first day of the competition, which will take place during the morning, afternoon and evening on four courts.
One of the highlights of the opening day will be the women’s match between Argentina, the 2025 World Games champion and 2024 world runner-up, and the Philippines at 10:00 am.
In addition, Brazil’s women’s national team plays against Norway at 10.00 a.m. at the Central Court and Uruguay plays against the Netherlands at Court 4 at noon.
Meanwhile, in the men’s category, Argentina faces Germany, runner-up in the 2024 World Championship, at 11:00 on the Central Court. At the same time, Brazil plays Italy on Court 2.
