SEDALO: one of the winningest clubs in Argentina. The women’s runner-up of the SCA of Clubs will be present in the 2026 edition.
The Sociedad Escolar y Deportiva Alemana de Lanús is associated with the school, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2025. SEDALO is one of the pioneers of Handball in Argentina.
A strong pool of players and one of the most formative clubs in the country, in both the men’s and women’s divisions, with all categories from minis to Liga de Honor.
A path of achievement
During 2025 SEDALO was crowned champion from youth to junior categories. Its most outstanding achievements:
- Metropolitano Apertura Tournaments: 1999, 2000,2004,2008,2011,2012,2023,2024,2025.
- Also Metropolitano Clausura Tournaments: 2000,2001,2003,2004,2006,2009,2023,2025.
- Super 4 and Super 8 of the FE.ME.BAL: 2008,2009,2012,2024,2025.
- Torneos Nacionales: 2000,2001,2003,2004,2006,2009,2023,2025.
In 2023, after 14 years, they won the national title with a new team of very young players. In addition, they have multiple metropolitan and national formative tournaments to their credit.

Hard-working and passionate trainer
At the international level, in 2025 they were runners-up in the South-Central Club Championship, a historic position for the team led by Fernando García.
“I have a sustained link with SEDALO over several years. I was coach of the men’s Honor League between 2007 and 2014.”
“Then resumed my activity at the club in 2019 as a youth coach, a role I continue to play today.”
Garcia has kept his job as head coach of the senior women’s team since 2022.
“SEDALO is a club with which I feel very identified. We feel very comfortable, we have everything we need to carry out our work, and the club’s support is constant.”
“Without a doubt, it is the best place to work and continue to grow as a coach,” said Garcia, Garcia said.

The Club is preparing to face a new edition of the SCA Women’s Club Handball Championship to be held in Asuncion, Paraguay from June 15 to 19.
“We are preparing with the seriousness that the most important club competition in the Americas deserves,” said Fernando Garcia, said Fernando García.
Finally, he added: “For us it is a great challenge and a very strong commitment, but also a pride to be able to be competing again.”
