COSCABAL announces its 2027 indoor handball competition schedule. Next year will feature tournaments in various categories.
The South and Central American Handball Confederation has opened the bidding process for host cities for the various championships.
National federations and other affiliated institutions, such as clubs and associations, may access the application process by requesting the necessary information to assess the requirements and prepare their proposal.
Applications should be sent to sca2027@handballsca.com and will be accepted until November 15, 2026. The selection of host cities will be announced around December 30, 2026.

Club Competitions
- SCA Youth Handball Tournament for Girls and Boys: March 8–14, 2027.
- SCA Junior Women’s and Men’s Club Handball: April 5–11, 2027.
- SCA Senior Women’s Club Handball: May 2–9, 2027.
- SCA Senior Men’s Club Handball: May 23–30, 2027.
- SCA Senior Club Handball Championship for Central America: August 30–September 5, 2027.
National Team Schedule
- IHF Central American Men’s Nations Trophy: June 14–19, 2027. *
- IHF Central American Women’s Junior and Youth Trophy: April through June. *
- IHF Men’s South American Nations Trophy: September 13–18, 2027. *
- IHF South American Junior and Youth Women’s Trophy: April through June. *
- SCA Handball for U13 and U14 National Teams: September 27–October 2, 2027.
- SCA Handball for U15 and U16 National Teams: October 4–10, 2027.
- SCA Women’s Youth National Team Handball: November 9–13, 2027.
- SCA Women’s Junior National Team Handball: November 16–20, 2027.
- SCA Senior Men’s Handball: January 10–15, 2028.

Important Dates
• Dates for regional coordination meetings will be announced by October 17.
• And deadline for submitting background information to apply to host the event: November 1, 2026.
• Deadline for submitting host city applications: November 15, 2026.
• And Deadline for reviewing applications, inquiries, and clarifications: November 30, 2026.
• Announcement of host city assignments: no later than December 15, 2026.
