Argentina, Brazil, and Chile are competing for a Spot in the World Cup

Argentina, Brazil, and Chile are competing for a Spot in the World Cup, while in the women’s tournament, Argentina and Paraguay A will play in the final this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the COP Arena

On the fourth day of competition at the Paraguayan Olympic Committee’s facilities, the finalists were determined in the women’s division, while in the men’s division, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile are vying to qualify for the World Cup.

Chile vs. Peru (Women’s)

The Peruvian national team, coached by Reynaldo Guzmán, defeated Chile 24-20. L Rafaela González was named the game’s MVP and also scored 5 goals for her team.

Argentina vs Uruguay (men)

The Argentine national team secured its fourth consecutive victory, defeating Uruguay 31-18 and solidifying its position at the top of the standings.

The MVP was Tiago Lavorante, who also scored 7 goals for his Albiceleste team.

Argentina vs. Paraguay B (women’s)

In one of the semifinal matches, Argentina defeated Paraguay B 26-22 and secured a spot in the final.

Valentina Cirelli was named MVP of the game and also scored 6 goals.

Peru vs. Paraguay (men’s)

During the first half, the two teams were evenly matched, ending the half with a score of 13-14 in favor of Paraguay.

In the second half, Marcelo Ojeda’s team capitalized on their opponent’s turnovers to extend their lead. Paraguay defeated Peru 35-24.

The MVP was Jeremy Meza of Peru, and the top scorer of the match was Alexander Velázquez of Paraguay with 7 goals.

Brazil vs Chile (men)

Marcus Oliveira’s team secured the victory against their Chilean counterparts. Brazil demonstrated superiority on offense and took advantage of gaps in their opponent’s defense.

Brazil defeated Chile 28–24; with this result, there is a three-way tie on points in the standings.

The game’s MVP was goalkeeper Lucas Borba, and the top scorer with 8 goals was Tomás Lladser.

Paraguay A vs. Uruguay (Women’s)

In the second semifinal, Paraguay A faced Uruguay in the day’s final match. The home team secured a 35-19 victory over Uruguay and will face Argentina in the final.

The game’s MVP was goalkeeper Jazmín Portillo, who had an outstanding performance during the first half.
