Dartfish at the Handball Libertadores. The partnership between Dartfish and COSCABAL—whose main goal is to develop and promote impartiality—was on display in Asunción.

Dartfish is a global leader in video analysis solutions. Dartfish solutions are used in elite sports around the world to provide real-time and post-game analysis.

SCA for Clubs Incorporating Technology

Video replay was used during the Central American South Senior Club Handball Championships for both women’s and men’s teams, held in Asunción.

This allowed teams and referees to review plays, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions based on a variety of sources to obtain different perspectives.

The delegates were: Thedy Adjemian, Luciano Zabala, Rubén Burgs, and Ailen
Giampietro from Argentina; Sandra Quadros and Natal Vilela from Brazil; Marcelo Moraga from Chile; and Rolando Ferrés from Uruguay.

Dezembro and Guilherme Gonçalvez; Luiz Coelho and Arthur Bontempo from Brazil.

Derlis Medina and Mathis Galeano from Paraguay; Laura Burgos and Noelia Gosembatte, Cristian Lemes and Mathias Sosa from Uruguay; and a French duo, Karim Gasmi and Raiuf Gasmi, also took part.

Representing the Coscabal PRC in the men’s competition was Rolando Ferrés of Uruguay. The technical delegates included Ailen Giampietro, Rubén Burgos, and Federico Bacalini of Argentina; Sandra
Quadros, Natal Vilela, and Rogerio Pinto of Brazil; Marcelo Moraga of Chile; and Pablo Martínez of Uruguay.

Cutting-edge technology for the region

This partnership with Dartfish allows all national federations to access this type of technology.

The goal is to promote impartiality by improving the training of referees in the region through the implementation of real-time video analysis technology.
