Sedalo beat Jockey Club 26-18 and is going for the 5th place in the SCA Handball Championship for Women’s Clubs played in San José, Brazil.
The victory over Scuola Italiana in the morning allowed the Cordovan team to stay alive in the SCA.
First half
A foul on Ursula Schroder allowed the Cordobesas to open the scoring from 7 meters.
But the saves of goalkeeper Candelaria Cuadrado and the solid defense of Fernando Raul Garcia’s team quickly gave them a slight advantage. The first half ended 12-6 in favor of Sedalo.

Second half
In the second half, Sedalo’s defense was impenetrable, blocking Jockey’s offensive attempts and recovering the ball on several occasions.
In this way, they were stretching their lead on the scoreboard. Despite the efforts of the team led by coach Eliana Chiatti, they were unable to close the gap.
Sedalo won 26-18 against Sedalo. The MVP of the game was Manuela Pizzo.

With this result, Sedalo will face Ferro Carril Oeste for the fifth place, while Jockey Club will face Goes for the seventh place of the South Central Clubs.
