Women’s Cadet World Championship. The tournament will be held October 16–24 in Morocco, and South America will be represented by Argentina and Paraguay.
Teams and Groups
A total of 16 national teams are participating, divided into four groups of four; representatives from all five continents will compete in this new IHF tournament, which is focused on the development of young players.
Group A will consist of the People’s Republic of China, Morocco, the United States, and Kazakhstan, while Group B will consist of Hungary, Paraguay, Guinea, and Belarus.
Meanwhile, Group C will feature Germany, Uzbekistan, Mexico, and Tunisia, and Group D consists of Argentina, Egypt, Switzerland, and Russia.
The group draw took place following the IHF Council’s decision to expand, effective immediately, the number of participating teams from 12 to 16 in both the IHF Women’s U-16 World Championship and the Men’s U-17 World Championship.
This increase strengthens the structure of youth competitions worldwide and gives more young players the opportunity to compete on the international stage.
