Brazil wins against Uruguay in the SCA U16 Handball Championship. The green and yellow team defeated the sky-blue team, which was undefeated in the tournament, 25-17.
Brazilian opened the scoring with a penalty kick goal by player Beatriz Monteiro. After two unsuccessful attacks by both teams, Uruguay equalized with a goal by right winger Priscila Rojo.
This first half was a hard-fought, back-and-forth match, where both teams made mistakes in their offenses. However, as time went on, the green and yellow team was able to organize its attack better and thus had fewer mistakes.
They went into halftime with Brazil leading by 5 goals, 13-8, leaving an open game for the second half.

Second half, the sky-blue team came out to play the first minutes looking for the tie. For this, the defense was consolidated, being tougher and complicating Brazil’s attacks.
That is why the team coached by Viomario Da Silva, had to work more on their offense to be able to convert. Despite the difficulties they got a 4-1 partial in their favor and continued stretching the score.
Finally, Brazil won the match beating Uruguay by 25 to 17 and getting its second victory in three matches played, while the sky-blue team lost its first game.
The scorers of the match were Julieta Villar (7) of Uruguay and Beatriz Monteiro (6) of Brazil.
