Brazil crowned in the Global Beach Handball Tour. The final stage of the circuit was played in João Pessoa. The Brazilians won the title twice.
Male and female champions
The final stage of the Global Beach Handball Tour closed with a celebration for the Brazilian teams in front of their home crowd.
First it was the turn of the women, who beat Argentina 2-0 (17:16, 22:16) and then it was the turn of the men, who won against Spain 2-0 (24:22, 14:11).
Undefeated in gold
The girls coached by Vinicius de Oliveira won all the matches they played. On the first day they beat Poland 2-0 (14:8, 2212).
On Saturday they defeated Spain 2-1 (24:28, 22:12 SO 12:10) and in the evening they beat Argentina 2-1 (8:17, 23:19 SO 7:6).
The gold medal match was a victory against their classic rival, but Leticia Brunati’s team lost and finished in second place. Brazil was superior by 2-0 2-0 (17:16, 22:16) and won the gold medal.

Dorados and local
Brazil started with a 1-2 defeat against Spain (24:14, 19:22 SO 6:7). On the second day they had two victories.
They beat Croatia 2-0 (24:8, 10:6), in the evening they beat Argentina 2-1 (22:16, 14:15 SO 12:10). In the final he beat Spain 2-0 (24.22, 14:11) and with this result he was crowned champion.
Argentina won the bronze medal after beating Croatia 2-1 (24:8, 14:17 SO 7:6).
