In this first edition of the U-17 Men’s World Cup, the trio referee modality was adopted.

Lucas Dezembro along with Mohamed Ahmed Kamal Saleh of Egypt and Tetsuro Murata of Japan were in charge of refereeing the semifinal between Germany vs Qatar.

Meanwhile, Guilherme Gonçalves, together with Tetsuro Murata of Japan and Zan Puksic of Slovenia were in charge of the final between Germany and Egypt.
