Taubaté’s victory at the end of the Club World Cup

Victory for Taubaté at the end of the Club World Cup. The Brazilian team beat the California Eagles 35-25 and placed seventh in the competition.

The team coached by André Silva, won against the California Eagles coached by Argentine Guillermo Milano.

Taubaté scored a partial 18-13 and in the second half gave final figures to the scoreboard by 35-25. The goals were scored by Guilerme Torriani (8), Gabriel Dos Santos Da Rosa, Washigton Silva, Gustavo Andrade and Lucas Mendes with (5) goals each.

Also scoring were Victor Rodriguez and Guilherme Peixoto (2) each; Vinicius Perin, Kelvin de Oliveira and Gerardo Gorriti scored one goal each.

Gustavo Andrade was chosen as the MVP of the game.

With this result, Handebol Taubaté placed seventh in the 18th edition of the Club World Cup held in Egypt.
