President Marcel Mancilla at the IHF meeting. The Council of the International Handball Federation, together with the members of the Executive Committee held their annual meeting.
The head of the South and Central American Handball Confederation, Marcel Mancilla, who is also a member of the Executive Committee, was present at the venue.
The meeting took place in the city of Créteil, France. Mancilla presented an award to IHF President Dr. Hassan Moustafa.
Agenda
The agenda of the meeting covered various topics, in which the Congress held in the city of Buenos Aires last January was mentioned.
In the aforementioned Congress, Marcel Mancilla was re-elected president of the South and Central American Handball Confederation and together with the new board of directors, the institution was ratified as representative of the national federations of South and Central America.
Another topic at the meeting was the choice of the venues for the 2029 and 2031 editions of the Men’s and Women’s IHF World Championships The World Championships were established as follows: Men’s IHF 2029 France/Germany. Men’s IHF 2031 Denmark/Iceland/Norway. Women’s IHF 2029 Spain and Women’s IHF 2031 Czech Republic/Poland The International Handball Federation (IHF) Council met prior to the draw for the groups for the next Olympic Games.
