IHF meeting in Cretéil France with the presence of President Marcel Mancilla

The Council of the International Handball Federation, IHF, together with the members of the Executive Committee, held their annual meeting. This time it was in the city of Créteil, France.

The president of the South and Central American Handball Confederation, Marcel Mancilla, and also a member of the Executive Committee, was present at the venue and recognized the president of the IHF, Dr. Hassan Moustafa.

The agenda of the meeting covered various topics, in which the Congress held in the city of Buenos Aires last January was mentioned. In the aforementioned Congress, Marcel Mancilla was re-elected president of the South and Central American Handball Confederation and together with the new board of directors, the institution was ratified as representative of the national federations of South and Central America.

Another topic at the meeting was the election of the venues for the 2029 and 2031 editions of the IHF Men’s and Women’s World Championships, as follows:

– IHF Men’s World Championship 2029 France/Germany.
– IHF Men’s World Championship 2031 Denmark/Iceland/Norway
– IHF Women’s World Championship 2029 Spain
– IHF Women’s World Championship 2031 Czech Republic/Poland

The Council of the International Handball Federation IHF met prior to the draw of the groups for the next Olympic Games.
