Tomorrow kicks off the 2022 World Cup in Slovenia with the participation of Argentina, Brazil and Chile

From 22 June to 3 July the cities of Celje, Laško and Velenje in Slovenia will receive the 23rd edition of the IHF Junior Women’s World Championship, tournament in which three teams from the region will participate: Argentina, Brazil and Chile.

For 10 days, South American teams will compete against a total of 32 teams in a series of phases. First, they must play the preliminary round, where the first two each group will qualify for the Main Round, a stage prior to the heats that maintains the same qualification system.

Group A: India, Slovakia, Netherlands, Japan
Group B: Sweden, Iran, Tunisia, Guinea
Group C: Denmark, Argentina, Montenegro, Italy
Group D: France, Norway, Brazil, South Korea
Group E: Romania, Czech Republic, Angola, Lithuania
Group F: Germany, Slovenia, Chile, Mexico
Group G: Croatia, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Austria
Group H: Hungary, Poland, Egypt, United States

Thus, the three teams that got their qualification to the World Cup in the South-Center of Buenos Aires 2022, will play for 4 days the first phase of the tournament:

Wednesday, 22 June
Group F 06:30 (GMT-3) Germany vs. Chile
Group C 13:30 (GMT-3) Argentina vs. Italy
Group D 15:30 (GMT-3) France vs. Brazil

Thursday, June 23
Group C 09:30 (GMT-3) Argentina vs. Montenegro
Group D 11:30 (GMT-3) Norway vs. Brazil
Free: Chile

Friday 24 June
Group F 13:30 (GMT-3) Slovenia vs. Chile
Free: Argentina – Brazil

Saturday 25 June
Group D 07:30 (GMT-3) Brazil vs. South Korea
Group C 13:30 (GMT-3) Denmark vs. Argentina
Group F 15:30 (GMT-3) Chile vs. Mexico

Once the preliminary round is over, the future of the teams participating in the 2022 World Cup in Slovenia will be defined.
