Chile falls to Nigeria and takes 20th place in the Junior Men’s Handball World Cup

Chile closed its performance in the Junior Men’s World Cup held in Spain, falling 34-26 to Nigeria and placing it in 20th position.

The African team got off to a good start, to the point that they quickly took an 8-0 lead. Chile, meanwhile, looked for the goal but, on this occasion, did not have much luck in front of the goal.

Nigeria overcame the exhaustion of the last few days and, in the second half, managed to gain a 10-goal difference (28-18) in the 54th minute of the game, despite the fact that one of its best players, Victor Gbenga Rotibi, received a direct red card. for a slap in the face to Chilean attacker Diego Arancibia.

The top scorer for the Chilean team was Danilo Salgado with 8 goals, followed by Maximiliano Cabrera, with 4 scores.
