IHF confirmed the host cities for the 2027 Senior Men’s World Cup

IHF confirmed the host cities for the 2027 Senior Men’s World Cup, to be held in Germany.

The IHF Executive Committee confirmed the following distribution of cities: for Group A the venue is Munich; for Group B: Stuttgart.

For Group C the host city is Munich and in Group D Stuttgart. Meanwhile, Group E will be played in Kiel and Group F in Magdeburg.

Group G plays in Kiel and Group H in Magdeburg.

The final draw will take place on June 10 in Munich, the IHF detailed that there will be four performance pots, determined by team standings and continental results.

Batches of the IHF Men’s Handball World Championship 2027: in 1: Denmark, Germany, Croatia, Iceland, Portugal, Sweden, Egypt, Argentina.

In pot 2: France/Czech Republic, Finland or Montenegro/Slovenia, Norway/Turkey or Romania, Serbia or Lithuania/Hungary, Spain/Georgia or Israel, Switzerland/Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina or Kosovo/Faroe Islands, Ukraine or Slovakia/Northern Macedonia.

Draw 3 is composed of: Netherlands/Greece or Belgium, Austria/Poland or Latvia, Brazil, Bahrain, Tunisia, Cape Verde, Chilerepresentative of the NACHC

Finally, in pot 4 are Qatar, Kuwait, Japan, Algeria, Angola, Uruguaywild card 1, wild card 2.
