Brazil Champion South Central Beach Handball!. The Brazilians won first place in the tournament held in Rosario.
The Brazilian men’s national team led by Antonio Guerra achieved the two proposed objectives, on the one hand the qualification to the World Cup in Croatia.
On the other hand, to climb to the top of the podium and be crowned champion of the 2026 edition of the SCA Senior Beach Handball championship that took place at La Florida beach in Rosario, Argentina.
AMAZING FINAL – Brazil vs Argentina
In the decisive match of the tournament, Brazil once again demonstrated its hierarchy and defeated the locals by 2 sets to 0, the South American classic was dyed in green and yellow.
During the first set both teams showed in defense and attack that they wanted to win. A tight first set was resolved 17-14 in favor of Brazil.
Under an intense sun, heat and with the encouragement of the home crowd Argentina came out to block the power and experience of the Brazilian team.
The team coached by Sebastián Ferraro could not manage to win the second set, which was controlled by the Brazilian team that sealed the score 17-12.
Brazilian player Marcelo Tuller was voted the game’s MVP.
Thus, the Brazilian team celebrated its fourth South Central American Beach Handball title, reaffirming its dominance in the region.

“It was a complicated competition, very difficult for us because we had some difficulties with training, we did a good planning but we only had four days to prepare.”
“We have a very experienced team and some younger additions.”
“Together we were able to overcome all the difficulties and achieve our goals of qualifying for the World Cup and winning the championship.
In addition, Guerra expressed the importance of both Brazil and Argentina having made it to the world championship, thinking that perhaps they could practice together and help each other.

Uruguay vs Chile for the bronze
The Uruguayan national team won the bronze medal after defeating Chile 2-1 in a hard-fought match.
The Charrúas won the first set 24:18, while Chile responded in the second set and managed to beat Uruguay 23:20.
In the shoot out, Uruguay managed to break the tie with a great block by their captain Mauricio Gallo and the subsequent conversion by one of their outstanding players, Sebastián Sagasti.
