Argentina Champion Beach Handball SCA!. The city of Rosario lived the beach handball party during 4 exciting days.
The Argentine national team was crowned in the women’s division in the 2026 edition of the South Central American tournament. Goals achieved for the Kamikazes with a ticket to the World Cup and a gold medal.
VIBRANT FINAL – Argentina vs Brazil
Argentina won the title after defeating Brazil 2-0, gaining a valuable revenge after the previous defeat in the semifinals.
The girls led by the experienced Leticia Brunati battled until the end, the first set was defined by the minimum difference in favor of the Albiceleste 17:16.
In the second set Argentina intensified their blocking, adjusted their defense and managed to make a difference in the score.
With character and effectiveness in the decisive moments, the Argentines sealed the score 19:16 to become champions of the SCA Beach Handball Tournament.
The MVP of the game was player Gisella Bonomi.
Statements by Leticia Brunati, Argentina’s coach
“I think it’s the first time we beat them 2-0 in seniors, we are very happy because we had not been having such a strong tournament and we decided to kick the board in the final.”
“It showed that Argentina has a great team.”
Also, player Gisella Bonomi said:
“It’s crazy, I feel like it’s a dream. It was a very difficult tournament for us, but we were able to enjoy the game and understand that we had trained enough to not think and be able to be in the present in the match.”

Uruguay vs Paraguay for the bronze medal
The Celeste took third place after defeating Paraguay 2-0.
The first set was 16:12 in favor of the Uruguayans, with an even development of both teams throughout the first set.
During the second set, Uruguay showed its defensive power and managed to make the difference in key moments of the game to close the score 22:14.
Uruguay won the bronze medal and also qualified for the playoffs where they will compete for a place in the world championship of the category.
Uruguay’s Fiorella Olmos was named MVP of the match.
