Argentina and Brazil finalists of the Beach Handball SCA 2026! On the third day of competition, Argentina and Brazil qualified to the World Championship of the category and will compete in the finals in both branches.
The closing will be a pure spectacle at the Balneario La Floridawhere a new South American classic will be experienced in the definition of the tournament.
SEMIFINAL 1 – Brazil vs Uruguay (men)
Brazil reached the final after defeating Uruguay by 2 sets to 0 in the men’s semifinal and qualified for the World Cup.
The Brazilian team made the difference from the beginning and won the first set 28-16.
In the second, they imposed their rhythm again and closed it 22-16, securing once again their ticket to the final. Renan Pinheiro of Brazil was elected MVP of the match.
SEMIFINAL 1 – Brazil vs Paraguay (female)
Brazil secured their place in the final by defeating Paraguay by 2 sets to 0 in the women’s semifinal, also qualifying for the World Cup.
The girls coached by Vinicius de Oliveira were superior from the start and took the first set 21-12.
In the second, they maintained control of the game and closed the match. 22-17. The player Camila Negocio was elected MVP of the game.
SEMIFINAL 2 – Argentina vs Chile (men)
Argentina advanced to the final after winning the men’s semifinal by 2 sets to 0. The Albiceleste men will be present at the world championship.
The Kamikazes showed clear dominance in both halves, winning the first 22-12 and closing the second 22-10, in a solid and convincing performance.
Nahuel Baptista of Argentina was named player of the match.
SEMIFINAL 2 – Argentina vs Uruguay (female)
In the last match of the day, Argentina reached the final after beating Uruguay 2-1 in a very even match.
Uruguay won the first set 23-18, but Argentina reacted and took the second set 16-12.
The match was defined in shoot out, where the Argentine team was more effective and won 7-4, sealing the pass to the final and its qualification to the World Cup in Croatia.
Zoe Turnes was named the game’s MVP.
