Uruguay vs El Salvador
An erratic start for the Salvadorans, the Charrúa team dominated the game throughout the first half and extended the difference in the second half, closing the score 47-10.
The team led by Leonardo Puñales added 2 points in the group A standings. Rocío Parrilla was the top scorer with 9 goals.
Brazil vs Guatemala
Resounding victory of the Brazilians 40-8 over Guatemala. The green-and-white team imposed its style of play without surprises and was the absolute master of the match. Two points for Brazil in zone B. Jisseli Monteiro Da Silva was the scorer of the match with 6 goals.
Argentina vs Colombia
Argentina won 45-18 against Colombia in the third match of the first day. Monica Espina’s team was unable to overcome the Albiceleste’s power, who deployed their counterattack and solidified their defense, preventing the Colombians from scoring.
Catalina Losarcos was the top scorer of the game with 8 goals.

Chile vs Paraguay
They had an evenly matched first half that ended 13-13. The Chileans and Paraguayans played an entertaining game that went goal for goal as the minutes went by.
Both goalkeepers, Camila Henriquez and Claudia Ruíz Díaz were in charge of their goals. In the second half, the locals had a more solid attack and were able to block their rival.
It was a victory for Paraguay that added two points to two in the group B table. The top scorer of the match was Fiorella Enriquez with 10 goals.
