Brazil unveils its World Cup squad

Brazil unveils its World Cup squad. The Brazilian Handball Confederation unveiled the players for the World Cup.

The Brazilian national team has had a 2025 with different stages of preparation. Trips, training camps, friendly matches and an important physical preparation as part of the preparation of the team coached by Cristiano Rocha.

In the last World Cup in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, the Brazilian team achieved 4 wins and 2 losses during the Main Round.

This edition of the Women’s Adult World Cup in Germany/Netherlands will be Brazil’s fifteenth participation.

Players called up

Goalkeepers: Gabriela Moreschi and Renata Arruda; right forward: Alexandra Nascimento and Jessica Quintino; left forward: Jamily Félix and Larissa Araújo.

Setters: Gabriela Bitolo, Giulia Guarieiro, Micaela Rodrigues, Kelly Rosa, Mariane Fernandes and Bruna de Paula. Center: Jhennifer Lopes, Maria Grasielly and Patricia Matieli. Pivots: Sabyne Santos, Milena Maria and Marcela Arouinian.

Technical committee: coach Cristiano Rocha, assistant coach Álvaro Casagrande, physical trainer Luiz Carlos and Isabella Vieira. Goalkeeping coach Marcos Paulo.

Other members of the Commission are: Marina Calister and Jéssica Rocha, physiotherapists; Júlia Barigiere, nutritionist; Raquel Marques, physician; Rosángela Vieira, psychologist.

The staff is completed by performance analysts Gabriel Maroja and Willian Roque; supervisor Lucila Vianna.

Preliminary phase matches

Brazil is in Group G along with Cuba, Czech Republic and Sweden. The debut will be against Cuba on Thursday, November 27, on Saturday, November 29 against the Czech Republic and closes against Sweden.

The matches will be played in Stuttgart/Porsche Arena.
