Argentina confirmed the squad for the Women´s World Cup to be held from November 26 to December 14 in the Netherlands and Germany 2025.
The Argentine Handball Confederation announced the official squad that will compete in the world championship starting on November 26th.
Players called up
The players called up are: Marisol Carratú and Valentina Menucci in goal; Rocio Campigli, Giuliana Gavilán and Sol Azcune pivots.
In addition, the wingers Ayelén García, Berenice Frelier, Joana Bolling and Lucía Dalle Crode will join the team. Carolina Bono, Macarena Sans and Martina Romero will also play as center backs.
Finally, Elke Karsten, Micaela Casasola, Martina Lang and Malena Cavo as wingers.
The technical staff is composed of coach Mariano Muñoz, Martín Dahau as technical assistant and Fernando García as goalkeeping coach.
The coaching staff also includes physical trainer Omar Camel and kinesiologist Santiago Bruno.

Reviewing the last World Cup
The last edition of the Women’s Handball World Cup was held in Denmark, Norway and Sweden in December 2023.
It was the twelfth participation of the Argentine national team in women’s world championships and was marked by 2 wins and 4 losses.
It finished in 20th place. The coach in 2023 was Eduardo “Dady” Gallardo, now with a renewed technical staff, Mariano Muñoz will be in charge of leading the team in a new World Cup.
This time it will be in two countries as venues, Germany on the one hand and the Netherlands on the other. La Garra is going for its thirteenth participation and will be looking to improve its last appointment.
Match Schedule
Argentina is in Group E along with the Netherlands, Austria and Egypt. The first match is against the hosts on Friday, November 28, and then on Saturday, November 30, they will face Austria.
In the closing match of the preliminary phase, they play against Egypt on Tuesday, December 2. All three matches will be played at Rotterdam Ahoy.
