Junior and Youth Qualifiers. The SCA Youth Handball Tournament will be played in Asuncion, Paraguay between November 17 and 21, while the Junior Tournament will be held in January, dates and venue to be confirmed.
Both competitions will define the qualifiers for the next women’s world championships in each category.
Junior and Youth Qualifiers
As part of the busy calendar of the Confederation of South and Central America, COSCABAL together with the IHF have determined that the Junior qualifier will be held in January, at a venue to be confirmed.
The Youth meanwhile, will be held from November 17, with Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay hosting the party in Asuncion. They will also face the Continental Trophy teams of the category, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Peru and Venezuela.
It is important to note that in both tournaments, the qualification slots for both World Cups are disputed by all the teams of the Youth (4 slots) and Junior (3 slots) Qualifiers.

In addition, as has been the case in previous years, the qualifying tournaments will be joined by the Continental IHF Trophy Phase, which provides qualification for the Intercontinental Phase.
This allows emerging nations in our sport to measure themselves against those that represent South and Central America in world events.
