Schedule ready for the SCA U15 and 16 Handball to be held in Asuncion, Paraguay. The women’s tournament will be a qualifier for the World Cup.
The SCA U15 and 16 Handball Championship has already confirmed the fixture. Asuncion, Paraguay will host the tournament that puts at stake 2 tickets for the next World Cup in the women’s rowing.
From Tuesday, September 23 to Saturday, September 27, the Paraguayan Olympic Committee will host the Tournament and will have two courts, the Aren COP (1) and the CEO COP (2).
The participating teams in the men’s and women’s categories are Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay A, Paraguay B (invited), Peru and Uruguay.
Competition system
The competition format will be by groups, in each branch there will be two groups with three and four teams. It is important to clarify that the Paraguay B team in the women’s division will not score points and its results will not be considered for the 2026 World Cup qualification ranking.
In the event of qualifying to the semifinals, it will cede and change its place to the team that is placed in the immediately following position.
Thus, Group A of the women’s division is made up of Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. While Group B is made up of Brazil, Paraguay A, Peru and Paraguay B (Guest).
The men’s groups are as follows: Group A is made up of Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay A; Group B is made up of Brazil, Chile, Peru and Paraguay B.
