The men’s competition that gave us days full of excitement and a lot of handball ended, this Friday the ranking positions were defined and the brand new champion who got a ticket to Lima 2027.
Uruguay vs Chile
In an exciting game the teams of Uruguay and Chile opened the first game of the last day, after several errors in shots and turnovers they went to the break 10-9 in favor of the Chileans.

Mexico vs Cuba

Bronze for the United States

Brazilian gold
A vibrant match was played in the final with a South American classic for the gold medal. Brazil defeated Argentina 29-27 to win the gold medal and qualify for the next Pan American Games Lima 2027.
The game was intense from the very first minutes, and during the first half the Argentines managed to take a 14-11 lead.
In the second half, Brazil was more effective in their attacks and with a great defensive work managed to block the Albiceleste offense. André Silva’s team sealed the victory, Mijael Candido was the Brazilian scorer with 9 goals, while for Argentina, Nicolás Rodríguez scored 10 goals.
