The Junior World Cup in Poland came to an end. The South American teams closed their participation in the tournament in its 25th edition.
Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay demonstrated their game and display at the World Cup, which took place from June 18 to June 29.
Argentina under Rodolfo Jung
Argentina improved its position from the last World Cup, placing 23rd. The team coached by Rodolfo Jung debuted with a loss in Group B against Austria 23-29, then lost to Hungary 31-36 and beat Brazil by the minimum difference 30-29.
In the President’s Cup, they beat Uruguay 35-16 and lost to Poland by one goal 32-33. In the final match of the championship, they lost to Morocco 32-33 in a duel that was tied 30-30 and was decided in penalty kicks.

In the last match, they beat South Korea 35-30. Argentina’s MVP players were Lucas Obregón in the match against Poland and Santiago Laborde in the match against Uruguay.
The Brazil of André Vinicius
The Brazilian team led by André Vinicius Menedes Silva finished 27th in the tournament. Brazil lost all three matches in group B, defeating Hungary 24-29, Austria 24-32 and Argentina 29-30.
During the President’s Cup competition they lost 26-31 to Poland, and beat Uruguay 30-16. In the final match they lost 37-38 to North Macedonia and closed with a victory over Bahrain 29-28.

The players chosen as MVP were Joâo Lindoso in the match against Uruguay, Lucas Gabriel Vieira Da Silva in the game against North Macedonia and Guilherme Maia in the match against Bahrain.
Adler and his selection of Uruguay
The team led by coach Manuel Adler Bonifacino, lost in the three matches of group A. Uruguay lost to Poland 16-39, to Norway 17-35 and to Slovenia 19-37.
In the definition of the President’s Cup they lost to Argentina 16-35 and to Brazil 16-30. Then came the victory over Mexico 24-22 and lost to Saudi Arabia 22-32, which left them in 30th place.

Uruguayan player Joaquín Restano Stapff was elected MVP in the match against Mexico.
South American arbitration
The refereeing duos of Mariana Garcia and Maria Ines Paolantoni from Argentina were officiating the competition, also from Uruguay Mathias Sosa and Christian Lemes. The technical delegates present were Luciano Zabala and Thedy Adjemian from Argentina.
