Bronze for Brazil at the Beach Handball World Cup

Bronze medal for Brazil in the Beach Handball World Cup, the men’s team took third place in the competition held in Tunisia.

The team coached by José Cardozo Junior managed to beat Hungary by 2-1, the first set was for the Brazilians by 24-18, while the second set was for the Hungarians by 20-18.

In the shoot-out, Brazil beat Hungary 14-12 and climbed up to the podium of the world championship.

In addition, Argentina’s men’s team finished in seventh place and Uruguay placed ninth. On the women’s side, the Uruguayan women achieved an epic fifth place and Brazil finished in eighth place.

Meanwhile, Spain was crowned champion in both categories, with the women beating Germany 2-0 and the same result for the men against the Germans. The third place for the women went to the Netherlands.

At the closing ceremony, the ideal teams of the championship were chosen, with Uruguayan and Brazilian presence.
