The Paraguayan national team qualified for the World Cup in Germany/Netherlands 2025. The Paraguayan women won the last available place and will be present at the World Cup.
Paraguay joins the already qualified teams of Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, the four South American representatives will be competing in the World Cup to be played from November 27 to December 14.
The playoff was held in the city of Palmira, Colombia and featured the local team, Peru and Paraguay. A total of 3 matches were played.

Matches played
The hosts opened play on the first day, Colombia defeated Peru 41-20. Colombian player Sara Arcila scored 9 goals, while Camila Delgado was the top scorer of the match with 10 goals.
In the second day, Paraguay defeated Peru 49-14. Camila Delgado of the Peruvian team scored 8 goals; and in Paraguay the top scorer of the match was Almendra Velázquez with 13 goals.

On the last day of competition, the Paraguayan team defeated Colombia 25-20. Paraguay’s Milagros Samaniego scored 7 goals and on the Colombian side, Sara Arcila scored 7 goals.
With these results, the Paraguayan national team, led by Marizza Faria, secured its participation in the next Women’s Adult World Cup to be held in Germany/Netherlands.
