The Men’s Emerging Nations Championship began to take place in Varna, Bulgaria. Paraguay debuted with a defeat against the local team by 18-35.
From March 11 to 16 the fifth edition of the Tournament will be played, the participating countries are: Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cyprus, United States, Great Britain, Nigeria, Paraguay and the Republic of Moldova.
The Paraguayan national team faced the local team in a packed stadium and closed the first half down 10-19.
In the second half, it was not enough to close the gap on the scoreboard. The team led by Victor Figueredo lost 18-35. Players Victor Ríos Ramírez and Diango Viana Aquino scored 4 goals each.
