The Open Beach Handball SCA is launched! COSCABAL is relaunching the Open Championships and your organization can be the next host or participant
Now in these competitions that aim to promote the practice, dissemination and development of the discipline.
With a competition focused on opening participation to any team, the Open Beach Handball SCA will hold a renewed version this 2025.
Coscabal opens applications to organize tournaments, and be part of the first continental appointment of Beach Handball teams, which will end in the final phase to be held from April 7 in the city of Iquique, Chile.
If you wish to participate in this new tournament circuit, you may organize a tournament meeting certain minimum requirements to qualify as Open, and thus obtain two slots for the last phase of the tournament.
It should be noted that the organizer of each competition obtains direct qualification to the Open Beach Handball SCA Iquique 2025
While the champion of each event will also obtain a place in that competition.
Adittion one of the requirements is to have four or more teams per branch, one of which must be a team from a country other than that of the organizer.
Notwithstanding for your tournament to be categorized as Open, it must also consider -at least- the participation of a Coscabal supervisor.
Deadline to organize your championship, and validate the qualifiers for Iquique 2025, will be February 24 of this year.
To request validation, you must submit your tournament to oper@handballsca.tv and inform your National Federation about your competition.

In order to promote development, and also to consider the countries that have contributed to the growth of this discipline,.
Coscabal will provide invitations to the champions of leagues established by the National Federations, which must also meet certain minimum requirements.

For example, rom Puerto Madryn, in Argentina in 2022, we have hoped to continue with this more open model that better reflects the possibilities of development and the reality of the discipline.
