Closing of the second day of the Beach Handball SCA U17. The qualifying event for the next World Cup has the best teams as protagonists in Iquique. Cavancha beach had an evening full of emotions.
We share with you a summary of the matches played. Closing of the second day of Beach Handball SCA U17.
Uruguay vs Brazil (men)
The afternoon opened with the game between Uruguayans and Brazilians at the Cavancha arena. The victory was 2-1 for Brazil.
First set was won by the Brazilians in the last second of play 11:10. Meanwhile, Uruguay outscored their rival 17:14 in the second set to stay 1-1. In the shoot out it was 8:6 in favor of Brazil.
Argentina vs Peru (men)
Argentines defeated Peru 2-0. A match where Argentina showed their power, the team coached by Andres Bueno won both sets 20:8 and 24:9.
(female) Argentina vs Uruguay
In a great match Argentina won 2-1 against Uruguay. The Argentines lost the first set 14:18 and managed to win the second set 16:14 which generated a shot out.
The Albiceleste won the final 7:6 and took the victory. This Saturday, on the last day of the World Cup Qualifying Championship, Argentina vs Brazil will face each other.
(men) Chile vs Paraguay
Team chilean achieved its first victory 2-0 against its Paraguayan counterpart. The locals were strong with the encouragement of the public.
Led by Mauro Rosso scored their first points after winning both sets 28:4 and 14:13.
Paraguay vs Chile (female)
Team guarani won 2-0 in the last match of the day against Chile. In two sets Paraguay beat the locals 19:14 and 15:10.
