Niteroi was pure excitement on the third day of the SCA Senior Handball. Argentina and Brazil continue at a steady pace, while Uruguay wants to join the fight for the World Cup qualification.

GAME 1: ARGENTINA VS CHILE

In the first match of the third day of competition of the SCA Senior Women’s Handball, Argentina got its third consecutive victory. The albiceleste and the red team did not make any difference and went to the break 12-12. In the second half, the team coached by Mariano Muñoz adjusted their effectiveness in attack and consolidated their game. Argentina won 30-23. Ayelén García scored 6 goals for Argentina and Gabriela Müller with 8 goals was the top Chilean scorer. Macarena Sanz was chosen as the MVP of the match.

GAME 2: URUGUAY VS PARAGUAY

In the second round of matches at the CT Stadium in Niteroi, Uruguay and Paraguay played a The game went goal for goal until the Uruguayans took the lead.

The first half had errors on both sides so they went to the break 11-11. In the second half, Uruguay improved their game and took advantage of the minutes Paraguay had without being able to score. Uruguay won the match 25-20 and got their first points.

The top scorers were Catalina Torunier of Uruguay and Fátima Acuña of Paraguay, with 5 goals each. In addition, Viviana Hergatacorzian was chosen as the MVP of the match.

GAME 3: BRAZIL VS EL SALVADOR

In the last match of the day, Brazil comprehensively overcame El Salvador. A match without difficulties for the locals. They went into the break with a 25-1 difference.

Cristiano Rocha’s team continued to be effective in defense and attack. El Salvador tried to play long attacks and reduce turnovers without success.

Brazil achieved a resounding 48-3 victory.

The MVP of the game was Jéssica Quintino and she was also the scorer with 11 goals.

Niteroi was pure emotion on the third day of the SCA Senior Handball. At the end of the day, the player Adriana Cardoso of Brazil was honored for her 100th game with her national team jersey.
