Gabriela Moreschi is Brazil’s goalkeeper. The experienced striker of the Brazilian national team is part of the list of players called up to compete in the South Central Senior Championship in Niterói.
Cristiano Rocha, announced the list of athletes who will compete in the South Central and Gabriela Moreschi is one of the outstanding figures of the Brazilian team.
Objectives
From November 26 to 30, the city of Niteroi, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, will host the qualifiers for the World Cup. Gabriela emphasized that the team’s main objective is to win a place in the next World Cup in Germany/Netherlands 2025 and to defend the South Central title at home. Brazil is carrying out an intense preparation led by its coach, Cristiano Rocha, who assured: “Our goal is to get to prepare a group that can be more evolved”.
Preparation and future
As part of the training schedule, Brazil had tours and played friendlies in two countries: Portugal and Romania. Moreschi was part of these tours and said:
“The preparatory tournaments are very important for the development of the team, including for the younger players who have joined.”
He further added: “Every game with the national team is an opportunity to evolve as a team and we value that very much.”
The experienced Brazilian goalkeeper plays for CSM București, in the city of Bucharest in southeastern Romania. Meanwhile, Brazil, one of the six participating teams from the South Central region, is one of the strong candidates to win one of the three tickets to the next World Cup. If they qualify, what will be their main goal at the World Cup?
- Our goal is always to seek a medal for Brazil. We know that a World Cup where there are so many good teams is a great challenge, but the goal is to get as high as possible in each competition.
