Taubaté eighth in the Club World Cup held in Cairo, Egypt. The team led by André Vinicius Mendes Silva was the South American representative at the World Cup.
Taubaté finished eighth in the competition, the title went to Veszprém HC who beat SC Magdeburg 34-33 in the final. Third place went to Al Alhy Sporting Club who beat FC Barcelona 32-29.

In the group stage, Taubate lost 25-30 to Zamalek Club and then lost 43-17 to Veszprém HC.

Guilherme Miguel Laranjeiro Torriani, a player from Taubaté, attended the Club World Cup for the first time:
“It was my first opportunity to participate, in 2022 with Taubaté we conquered the title in Buenos Aires, Argentina but I was transferred to Europe and in that opportunity.
I could not participate in the Super Globe in Arabia, I am happy to have participated in such a great championship…”.
“Unfortunately we didn’t get the results we expected, we knew the difficulties of facing the teams we had to face in the group.
