Second win for Paraguay A in the SCA U14 Handball. The highlight was the exciting women’s match between Uruguay vs Paraguay A, who won their second match 27-14.
Game summary
The Paraguayan team started off dominating the match, taking a 4-0 lead in the first ten minutes thanks to its solid defense and quick attacks.
Uruguay, however, found their rhythm after a tremendous save by their goalkeeper, which allowed an effective counter-attack that culminated in a goal.
However, Wilson Alfonso’s team quickly regained control of the game, stealing balls and taking advantage of one-on-ones with the Uruguayan goalkeeper to increase their lead.
The first half ended 17-5 with a clear dominance by the Guarani team.
In the second half, Uruguay came out determined to reduce the deficit, showing an improvement in their defensive organization and taking advantage of Paraguay’s mistakes.
In spite of this, the Albirrojas maintained a rigid defense and continued to play their fast and precise game.
Despite the efforts of the Charrúa team, the match ended with a resounding 27-14 victory for Paraguay, reaffirming their dominance in the match and achieving their second victory in the SCA U14 Handball.
The top scorer of the match was Carla Gonzalez of Paraguay, who scored 5 goals. On the Uruguayan side, Antonella Marti scored 3 goals.
