Relive day 3 of the SCA U14 Handball! The Arena Cop and the CEO in Asuncion, Paraguay lived another day full of handball in the SCA U14 Tournament for girls and boys.
Here is a summary of the third day of competition.
Relive day 3 of the SCA U14 Handball!
Paraguay B vs Argentina male
Argentina imposed its rhythm against Paraguay B and started the third day of the SCA U14 Handball U14 with a 41-19 victory.
Rubén Busolin’s team’s fast ball circulation and the effectiveness of the shots from the wings were the highlights of the game.
Paraguay B was unable to stop the Argentine defense, which remained solid and allowed quick counterattacking transitions.
Demian Goñi was the top scorer of the game with 8 goals, showing great accuracy from the 9-meter line.

Argentina vs Uruguay female
In the women’s game, Argentina beat Uruguay 26-23 in a very tight tactical duel.
The dynamics of the match went from goal to goal, but Argentina was more effective at key moments by better managing attacks with numerical superiority and shots from the wings.
Oriana Repetto of Argentina was the top scorer of the match, scoring 8 goals.

Paraguay B vs Brasil femenino
In a tense match, Paraguay B surprised Brazil in the women’s category with a 20-19 victory.
The Paraguayan defense employed a pressure tactic on the Brazilian wingbacks, managing to contain their mid-range shots.
Although Sofia Toscano, of Brazil, was the top scorer of the match with 6 goals, Paraguay B showed great effectiveness in counterattacks and kicks from 7 meters.
The Paraguayan goalkeeper also played a decisive role with several important saves at crucial moments.

Brazil vs Uruguay male
Then it was the turn of Brazil and Uruguay in the men’s team. The green and yellow team showed a dynamic and fast handball to beat Uruguay 30-21, taking advantage of their physical superiority in the outside shots and their effectiveness in the counterattack.
Arthur Lima was the scorer of the game, scoring 12 goals, most of them from the front line, with powerful shots from 9 meters.
Brazil’s good defense prevented Uruguay from generating fluidity in their attacking play, recovering balls and making quick offensive transitions.

Chile 30 – 31 Paraguay A male
Almost at the end of the day, in an exciting and evenly match that was defined in the final minutes, Paraguay A achieved a narrow 31-30 victory over Chile in the men’s category.
Both teams showed great intensity in both defense and offense, keeping the score close throughout the game.
Paraguayan goalkeeper Juan Gimenez was key in the decisive moments, making several crucial saves that kept his team in the game.
Mauricio Mongelos of Paraguay, with 7 goals, was the top scorer of the match, standing out in the 9-meter actions and leading Paraguay A’s offense to secure the victory.

Paraguay A vs Chile female
In the last match of the day, Paraguay A defeated Chile 27-16 with a game based on fast counter-attacks and a solid defense that hindered the Chilean offense.
Tiziana Devaca was the star of the match, scoring 10 goals, many of them by taking advantage of quick transitions after several defensive recoveries.
Although Chile managed to react at times, penetrating the Paraguayan defense with attacks from the wings, they were unable to keep up the pace or stop the speed of Wilson Alfonso’s team, who controlled the score from start to finish.
