Argentina champion in the U16 Men’s SCA Handball! In an exciting final where the teams left everything to win the title.

Argentinan was crowned champion in the SCA U16 Men’s Handball. They beat Brazil 26-21 and closed the tournament undefeated.
The Brazilian national team started by scoring the first goal of the match through its right winger David Lima. Argentina quickly tried to score but found a save by Gabriel Ferreira, the Brazilian goalkeeper, who prevented the goal.
When the score was 2-0 in favor of Brazil, Nicolas Ladelfa scored for the Albiceleste.
After 10 minutes of play, Pablo Robledo’s men took the lead for the first time, thanks to their defensive solidity.
Brazilian attack was finding spaces in the Argentine defense, which resulted in a 14-14 tie for both teams at halftime.

In the second half, Argentina showed a much more solid defense , blocking the Brazilian team’s attack.
The Albiceleste was strong in attack and defense, took advantage of some ball losses of their rival and hit with counterattacks, Argentina gradually widened the difference in the scoreboard.
With 7 minutes to go the scoreboard read 26-20 for Argentina, the goal was closed for both teams, Brazil could only convert one goal and this clearly favored the team led by Pablo Robledo.

Argentina won 26-21 against Brazil and was crowned champion in the SCA U16 Men’s Handball Championship held in Asuncion.
The scorers of the match were Nicolas Ladelfa (9) of Argentina and Eduardo Rodrigues (6) of Brazil.
“We won a final in which we played very well, we played a perfect game, everything went our way.
I am very grateful to this group, to the coaching staff and to my family that makes it possible for me to be here,” said Agustín Refojos, player of the Argentine national team.
