Argentina won the second place in Handball SCA U14 Women after defeating Chile 25-22 in a hard-fought match marked by solid defense and efficiency in counter-attacks.
In a decisive match for Argentina to secure the second place in the tournament, the team led by Fernando Lope started strongly. Luana Piccinetti opened the scoring and led her team to a 3-0 lead in the first minutes.
The Chileans, looking to secure a third or fourth place, showed moments of good play, where Maria Stegmeier found spaces in the Albiceleste defense, but Argentina capitalized on Chilean mistakes and closed the first half with a 16-8 lead. and closed the first half with a 16-8 advantage.
