The South Central American Handball Confederation is pleased to announce the lecture “School Handball Pills: The importance of defensive actions from initiation”, presented by the coach of the Argentine junior women’s national team .
The objective of the talk is to reach educators at school level, from infant ages 5 to 6 years old up to 14 years old.
Cecilia Hernández, president of Coscabal’s Development Commission, comments: “One of our focuses is school handball, and we hope to impact both school coaches and physical education teachers. The ‘pills’ are short lectures that provide a wealth of knowledge, ideal for teachers who tend to have busy schedules.” Hernandez also highlights the expected impact: “While our talks typically attract between 50 to 100 trainers remotely, the material generated is disseminated widely through our network of trainers. We want the knowledge shared to not only impact direct attendees, but also to be used as an educational resource for future trainings.” This is just the beginning, as the South Central American Handball Confederation will continue with “School Handball Pills”.
Presentations will be given on a monthly basis during the remainder of the year, focusing on the development of children and youth categories. Don’t miss the opportunity to join us on Saturday, August 17 at 9:00 (GMT -3) and learn from one of the most experienced coaches in youth handball development!
