Brazil leaves the World Youth Championship with a win

Brazil leaves the World Youth Championship in China with a win. They beat Montenegro 28-21 and finished 11th in the championship held in the city of Chuzhou, China. Brazil’s national team bids farewell with a victory. The girls, coached by Mauricio Antonucci, had a great performance in the World Championship played in China. In the group stage, they were part of Group D, where they had two wins and one loss. They beat Kosovo in the tournament opener 39-21, then beat India 34-17 and lost to France 34-18.

Position definition

In the Main Round II stage, Brazil lost to Japan 30-19 in the first match and added a victory over the Netherlands by 23-22.

In the definition of the ranking, Brazil lost by one goal to the Czech Republic 25-24 and beat Montenegro 28-21 in what was the end of their participation in the world championship. Andressa Souza was the game’s top scorer with 7 goals.
