The home of Beach Handball in Créteil, France

The home of Beach Handball in Créteil, France. For three days the exhibition took place with the best players in the world about 13 kilometers from Paris where the Olympic Games are being held.

South American representatives from Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay took part in a unique event for the discipline.

The Parc des sports Dominique Duvauchelle hosted the 24 matches that featured the French men’s and women’s teams and six beach handball All-Star teams.

All-star teams

Women’s teams:
LYRA composed of Ana Maria Ursu (POR), Luciéndotelos Marie Kretzshmar (GER), Nathalie Sena (BRA), Christine Mansour (USA), Asunción Batista (ESP), Line Berggren Larsen (DIN), Emese Toth (HUN), Isabel Barnard (NLD). HYDRA with Patricia Encinas (ESP), Jijuan Du (CHI), Fiorella Corimberto (ARG), Meike Kurier (NLD), Isabel Kettner (GER), Carolina Pires (BRA), Renata Santiago (BRA) and Cristina Morgado (POR). VELA is made up of Magdalena Kepesidou (GRE), Elisabets Hammerstad (NOR), Line Gyldenlove Kristensen (DIN), Patricia Scheppa (BRA), Gisella Bonomi (ARG), Renata Csiki (HUN), Rianne Mol (NLD) and Jimena Laguna (ESP).

Men’s teams:
DRACO is composed of Laszlo Nahaj (HUN), Lukasz Niedzielak (POL), Diogo Ferreira (POR), Lucian Bura (CRO), Andrew Donlin (USA), Martin Vilstrup Andersen (DIN), Thiago de Oliveira Barcellos (BRA) and Ali Heidarian (IRA). PEGASUS is another of the teams with Moritz Ebert (GER), Ivan Juric (CRO), Ebiye Jeremy Uno-Udoma (USA), Han Kakhi (QAT), Attila Kun (HUN), Bruno Carlos de Oliveira (BRA), Elhji Toure Jabba (ESP) and Nahuel Baptista (ARG). AQUILA with Mohsen Alyafeai (QAT), Peter Hajdu (HUN), Mohamed Ahmed Hassan (QAT), Domingo Luis Mosquera (ESP), Gil Vicente de Paes Pires (BRA), Santiago Rodriguez (URU), Severin Henrich (GER) and Ivan Dumencic (CRO).

Leticia Brunati: “In Brazil there is already beach handball work for formative areas, in Argentina not yet. It would be very important in South America to be able to work with the youngest players”.

“It has been a source of pride for me to be here, and for all the Argentinean coaches who are in the country.”

Bruno Carlos de Oliveira: “The infrastructure of the French handball house has everything, it is like a hotel, there are also areas for doctors, kinesiology, dining room, gym. The stadium is not permanent, but they have their own covered court”.

Nathalie Sena: “It’s a perfect moment, it’s important for Bech handball, the French Federation have received us very well.”

“It was a very intense 3 days, with beautiful and spectacular games. You felt what is the history of Bech handball and what are the people and the game and all the show it has.”

Gisella Bonomi: “It’s one more step to be here everyone, it’s a very big community and we all work together to achieve the biggest goal which is to be able to be part of the Olympic Games…”.
