Brazil and Chile teams to the Wheelchair Handball World Cup. The draw was made for the third edition of the Championship, which will be held in Cairo, Egypt.
The World Cup will be held from September 16 to 21 and will feature the teams of Brazil and Chile in competition.
The draw was held in Basel, Switzerland, at the IHF headquarters. Egypt, as host, had the right to choose the group, the African power will be in Group B along with Chile.
While defending champions Brazil will be in Group A.
France was assigned to Group A, while Portugal (champions in 2022) is in Group B.

Competition system
All teams from the preliminary round will advance to the quarterfinals. The winners of the four quarterfinals will advance to the semifinals, and the knockout phase will conclude with the medal matches, the final and the bronze match.
