Argentina lost to Hungary in Paris 2024

Argentina lost to Hungary in Paris 2024. On the second day of Group B at Paris 2024, the Hungarians defeated the Gladiators 35-25. After a close first half, mistakes and red cards destabilized the Argentine team.

As the minutes ticked by, the pace of the game increased, with goals being exchanged and stout defense from both teams.

First half

The first half started with Hungary taking the lead after a quick goal from 9 meters by Zsolt Ancsin.

However, Argentina responded with determination, showing an organized offensive that allowed them to tie the score thanks to a goal by Federico Fernandez.

A second half with red cards

During the first ten minutes of the second half, the Hungarians did not allow Argentina to react.

An aggressive Hungarian defense, coupled with a string of saves by goalkeeper Kristóf Palasics, allowed the Europeans to capitalize on quick counterattacks and increase the deficit.

Hungary’s efficiency was 70%, missing 15 of the 50 shots taken in the entire game.
